Join us at the Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture for a week-long experience that will give you time and space to immerse yourself in the rich world of Muslim theological thought. Against the inspiring backdrop of one of the world’s most picturesque and history-rich cities, study together with like-minded individuals from all over the world who wish to learn more about the Quran’s teachings on God, man, the world and the hereafter.
The Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture invites applications for a week-long course in modern Muslim theology, with particular focus on the works of Bediuzzaman Said Nursi (1876-1960). The global profile of Islam has never been higher, yet the teachings of the Quran on the nature of God, the relationship between the Creator and the creation, and the position of man in the universe receive relatively little attention. Join us here in Istanbul as we take a short but intense journey to the heart of modern Muslim theology, using as our primary guide the major works of Bediuzzaman Said Nursi, arguably the most significant Muslim theologian since Imam Ghazali..
