Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture to Participate In 3rd International NGO Fair

Between the 17th and 18th of November, the 3rd international NGO Fair co-organised by the Foundation of Volunteer Institutions of Turkey and the Union Of NGO’s of the Islamic World will take place.  The previous fair, which took place last year, attracted more than 10,000 visitors and was attended by participants from 163 different institutions from 35 countries along with the presence of important and prominent NGO’s.

Thus far, these international fairs have facilitated the meeting, interaction and strong collaboration of NGO’s from as far afield as the Asia-Pacific, South Asia, the Gulf countries, parts of Africa, Europe as well as America. Throughout these fairs the NGO’s have shared with each other details about their activities as well as their various projects.

The Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture will attend this years’ fair which will take place in the Yenikapi Asia Culture And Art Center. The event is expected to be even more comprehensive and vibrant than the previous year.

The Union Of NGO’s of the Islamic World have determined the purpose of this event to be a means in which NGO’s can consult each other via workshops as well as announcing that “Rather than focus on external visitors, the fair is a means of facilitating relations and collaborative partnerships between NGO’s”.

In order to ensure convenient and easy access to the fair area, free circular voyages will be provided from Yenikapı metro and Marmaray station in cooperation with the IBB.
