WE PRAY THE MERCY AND BLESSINGS OF ALLAH FOR THE MARTYRS IN NEW ZEALAND

We do not regard this organized terror attack against the Muslims gathered in the mosque to perform Friday prayers to Allah not only as the affair of a specific organization. This atrocious attack is a result caused by the hostility to Islam that has been disguised as “Islamophobia” since the plotting of September 11 attack.

Therefore the hostility to Islam which laid the ground for this terrorist attack must be condemned as well. The Western countries and organizations must not content themselves only with condemning the attack, but they must also figure out what and whose approaches and behaviors paved the way for this horrible consequence; and derive the necessary lessons.

We pray the mercy and blessings of Allah for the Muslim brothers and sisters who were martyred and want His shifa for the injured in this savage attack. We convey our deep condolences to the families of the victims and to all Muslims. May Allah protect all human beings from such acts of savagery. Amin.
