Visit to Prof. Dr. Mehmet Görmez and Invitation to the 13th International Bediuzzaman Symposium
Former President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Mehmet Görmez, who was appointed as the Rector of the International Islamic Science and Technology University, was visited and invited to the 13th International Bediuzzaman Symposium, which will be held on October 4–6, 2026. In addition to the Chairman of our Board of Trustees, Said Yüce, Ünal Akyüz, Bayram Özer, and Mehmet Ali Gündoğdu attended the visit.
Former President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Mehmet Görmez, who was appointed as the Rector of the International Islamic Science and Technology University, was visited at the historical rectorate building located in Sultanahmet.
During the visit, an exchange of views took place regarding the university's efforts and academic activities for the upcoming period. Görmez, who had attended previously organized symposia and delivered opening speeches, was presented with an invitation for the 13th International Bediuzzaman Symposium to be held on October 4–6, 2026.
In the meeting, which took place in a sincere atmosphere, the importance of scholarly studies and international academic collaborations were also discussed. In addition to the Chairman of our Board of Trustees, Said Yüce, Ünal Akyüz, Bayram Özer, and Mehmet Ali Gündoğdu attended the visit.
