The International Symposium "Quranic Solutions to the Crises of Civilization and Humanity" Starts in Damascus
The International Symposium "Quranic Solutions to the Crises of Civilization and Humanity," organized in cooperation with the Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture (IIKV) and the Faculty of Sharia at Damascus University, started today in Damascus.
Aiming to produce solutions to the deep civilizational crises and humanitarian problems facing today's world under the guidance of revelation, the symposium brings together academics, scholars, and researchers at an international level. The program also aims to strengthen academic cooperation between the two institutions.

The opening session of the symposium, held at Damascus University, began with intense participation. The opening was carried out with a speech delivered by Mehmet Halil Çiçek on behalf of the preparatory committee.

Later in the program, in the second session, the topic "Quranic Solutions to Intellectual and Civilizational Crises in the Light of the Risale-i Nur" will be discussed. In the session, topics such as the problems faced by the Islamic ummah, the understanding of justice, the building of the human being, the brotherhood of faith, and common human values will be evaluated by figures such as Mehmet Halil Çiçek, Metin Yiğit, Hüseyin Abdülhadi, and Eşref Abdürrafi Durfili.

In the symposium, which continues with international participation, while the solutions offered by the universal messages of the Holy Quran to the problems of the modern world are discussed from different perspectives, scholarly discussions and consultations are being held among the participants.
The symposium continues with sessions that will last throughout the day.
