Visit by Dr. Mahmood Saeed Buroo to the Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture

Researcher Dr. Mahmood Saeed Buroo visited the Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture (İİKV) and donated a valuable work to the foundation's library.
During the visit, Dr. Buroo met with Said Yüce, Chairman of the İİKV Board of Trustees, and provided information about his newly authored book. The meeting also featured a productive exchange of ideas regarding the Risale-i Nur services in Iraq, their historical development, and the contemporary significance of the concept of Islamic Unity (İttihad-ı İslâm).
Dr. Buroo gifted the first volume of his work, titled "Master Said Nursi Bediüzzaman: A Life Journey with the Risale-i Nur and the Shmer Tribe: Historical Truths," to the İİKV Library to be made available for the benefit of researchers.
The archival documents and historical sources included in the book contain significant information about Bediüzzaman Said Nursi and the Risale-i Nur Collection. Shedding light specifically on the introduction, readership, and expansion of the Risale-i Nur in Iraq, this study serves as a crucial resource that reveals the historical trajectory of the Nur services in the region.
